This Privacy Policy explains what data the Shake Work Off game (“the App”, “we”) collects, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run online play, rankings and cross-device sync.
1. Data we collect
Account: if you sign in, your email address (used only as a login identifier) and an anonymous user id.
Game profile: your display name, rating, wins/losses, coins, owned skins and best score — so your progress syncs across devices.
Usage analytics: pseudonymous event data (e.g. matches played, screens opened, app version, platform) to improve the game. This is tied to a random/anonymous id, not to your real identity.
We do NOT collect: precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or payment card data.
2. How we use it
To run online matches, matchmaking and the leaderboard.
To save and sync your progress when you sign in.
To understand how the game is used and fix problems.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to operate the App:
PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics (pseudonymous events only; we do not send your email address here).
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell your data.
4. Data retention
We keep your profile while your account exists. Analytics events are retained for a limited period for trend analysis. You can delete your data at any time (see below).
5. Delete your account & data
In the App, open Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile (name, rating, coins, skins, score) from our database and signs you out. You can also email us to request deletion.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.
